Club Member and Guest Reservations

  • Dock Availability

    The Dockmaster will determine dock availability for the date requested.

    If availability exists, a dock will be assigned and a confirmed reservation notice will be sent to you.

    If all available docks are committed, then your request will be placed on a dock waiting list for that day and you will be informed if a dock meeting your request becomes available.

    We also guarantee ten (10) available docks per weekend for exclusive use by our members.

  • Payment

    As required by our Dock Policy (10.4.3) a $30.00 deposit will be required at the time of confirmation of your reservation.

    The Dockmaster will contact you for payment information when confirming your reservation.

  • Holidays/Special Events

    Please note that on Holiday and Special Event weekends, our docks are available to MBIYC MEMBERS ONLY.

Dock Policy

10.4.1 Transient dockage is available to I-LYA affiliates except during MBIYC special events. The Dock Master will try to provide docking opportunities for I-LYA affiliated Dock Holders on a first come, first served basis. Docking opportunities could be restricted due to size of boat. On Fridays and the Sundays preceding holiday Mondays, available docks will be made available to I-LYA affiliated members after 12:00 PM.

10.4.2 MBIYC may set aside a limited number of docks each non-event weekend for
I-LYA members to reserve in advance so they may make plans to visit the Club and be assured of dock availability. The quantity of docks available may vary from week to week based upon anticipated use of MBIYC’s members as determined by the Dock Master.

10.4.3 At the time of reservation confirmation, a $30 deposit by credit card will be required from the I-LYA Member. Refunds of deposits due to cancellation can be made anytime up to 48 hours prior to the reservation date. After that, refunds will only be made due to inclement weather and at the discretion of the Dock Master.

10.4.4 All I-LYA affiliated members shall pay a fee as set forth in the schedule of fees each time they use a dock when visiting the club. An overnight fee paid allows the member use of that dock through 11:00 AM the following morning. An additional fee is to be paid for each additional day or portion thereof. A schedule of fees is set by the Dock Committee, approved and published by the Board of Directors.

10.4.5 An I-LYA affiliated renter’s vessel shall not be left unattended overnight at any Club dock, except with the Dock Master’s prior approval. Violation of this rule may result in the I-LYA affiliated member being prohibited from dock usage.
